Description

She fears his fangs. He burns to claim her. A desperate crash landing leaves them nowhere to hide from the heat between them.

Sophia Waterhouse is only visiting the Kindred Mothership for her sister's wedding. She has no interest in alien warriors—especially not the cold, terrifyingly beautiful Blood Kindred with icy blue eyes, lethal fangs, and a stare that makes her knees weak.

Sylvan has sworn never to call a bride.

A Blood Kindred warrior is dangerous enough without giving in to the savage hunger that rules his kind. He has spent years keeping his body under ruthless control... until Sophia awakens a need so sharp it feels like madness.

He should stay away from her.
Instead, he can't stop wanting her.

When an enemy attack leaves them stranded together in a remote mountain wilderness, survival means staying close. Sharing heat. Sharing shelter. Sharing the kind of intimacy Sophia never imagined with the one male she should fear most.

Because Sylvan doesn't just want to protect her.

He wants to claim her.

As the danger closing in turns deadlier, the tension between them burns hotter with every passing night. And when Sylvan is forced to cover Sophia's scent with his own, the fragile control he's fought so hard to maintain begins to shatter.

Sophia knows surrendering to the cold, possessive alien with the wicked mouth is a terrible idea.

But the longer she stays in Sylvan's arms, the more she begins to wonder if the real danger isn't the enemy hunting them...

It's falling for the Blood Kindred warrior who was never supposed to want her.

Hunted is the steamy second book in the Brides of the Kindred series, featuring a cold, fanged alien hero, a reluctant heroine, forced proximity, survival tension, primal hunger, explicit spice, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

There are 31 books in the main Brides of the Kindred series and more on the way...

Loved book 1 enough to purchase Hunted. Loved it too. Unfortunately the 3rd book in this series is not available through Apple Books, so I won’t be reading any more of this series. Sorry Evangeline.

I loved how the plot of the story is. The author draws you in and next thing you know you already read the whole book in less than 2 days..ITS JUST THAT GOOD. If your a reader like me that likes a story that isn’t short and hooks you in the beginning, this series is definitely for you. I give this book a solid 10/10. This author knows her audience.

I LOVED this book! Such a wonderful story. I don’t want to give away too much of the story but it’s a sci-fi romance, and has the best happy ending. I can’t wait to start book 3, looking forward to seeing what happens next.

If you are a new reader to this book, or perhaps even to the series itself, first I must say: don’t let the negative reviews stop you from reading this imaginative and fascinating series. I am new reader to this series myself and I am beyond glad that I ignored the nay-sayers to read these books. Unlike some of the others I find neither Waterhouse twin (Olivia or Sophia) irritating. I find both girls complex characters and their tales were well worth the read. Now, onto this specific book, Hunted is a fantastic read. Sophia is a heroine that I supported, even more than her sister, Olivia, before her. She has a troubled past, one that makes the reader sympathize and want to protect her, and because of that she has valid fears that force her to be weary of her emotional connection to Sylvan. Sylvan himself is quite the charming character and, as a reader, I spent the entire book rooting for him to heal both his broken heart and Sophia’s bruised one. Together, the pair are something that everyone can root for and adore. The plot of this novel is even more complicated than the first one and it caused my heart to race with both fear and adrenaline. Getting to learn more about the world, and the natives of, Tranq Prime was an interesting journey. The introduction of Sylvan’s younger cousin, Nadiah, was a delightful bright spot of pure happiness in a rather dark part of the tale and I hope that we get to see more of her in the future of the series. The only big complaint I have about Hunted is that I have finished this book. I would adore many more novels about the beautiful relationship between Sylvan and Sophia Waterhouse.
