Description

She was taken from Earth to marry a beast. Now one month in his bed may ruin her for every human man alive.

Olivia Waterhouse has just graduated nursing school when she's drafted to become the bride of a Kindred warrior—a towering, battle-scarred alien with golden eyes, a brutal past, and a body built for sin.

Baird doesn't want a female who fears him. Olivia doesn't want to be taken from Earth and handed to a possessive alien male who expects her to stay at his side forever.

But Kindred law gives them one month to decide.

Thirty days.
Three ritualized weeks of escalating intimacy.
No escape from the heat building between them.

First comes the Holding Week, where touching under the clothes is forbidden—but everything else is fair game.
Then the Bathing Week, where privacy disappears and every inch of skin is exposed.
And finally the Tasting Week... where Baird is done pretending he doesn't hunger for his reluctant bride.

Olivia is angry, wary, and determined to resist him.
Baird is growly, possessive, and absolutely certain she belongs with him.

As the ritual pushes them closer, resentment turns to desire—and desire becomes something far more dangerous.

Because once Olivia gives in to the massive Beast Kindred who was chosen for her, she may never want to leave.

Claimed is the steamy first book in the Brides of the Kindred series, featuring a scarred alien warrior, a reluctant curvy heroine, forced proximity, fated-mate vibes, slow-burn seduction, explicit spice, and a guaranteed happy ending.

A really fascinating read that have you thinking otherworldly. I love the alien ship of the book and seeing that a whole bit of it is futuristic. We never know for sure! Entertaining and will keep your eyes moving from one sentence to the next!

Can’t wait to read what happens next!!! Not a cliffhanger at the end if you don’t want it to be. This story is complete in itself but gives a hint at the next one in the series!!! Alien love? OK!!!!! Sign me up for some of what she had!!

I loved these characters. The dialogues felt real and natural, Liv had to talk ME out of falling in love several times. I was planning on reading as a stand alone but after finishing (in one night, lord help me) I’m hooked on this series. READ IT.

  • Claiming the heart

The book delves into the dynamic between Olivia and Baird, exploring themes of consent, attraction, and emotional connection. Olivia struggles with the concept of being “claimed” and the expectations that come with it, while Baird, despite his rough warrior exterior, demonstrates care and tenderness, trying to win her heart. Claimed incorporates detailed world-building with distinct sci-fi elements, including alien technology and culture. However, the book’s primary focus is on romance and erotica, with some steamy and explicit scenes that emphasize the bond between the two main characters. Readers who enjoy alpha-male protagonists and passionate, slow-burn romances with a touch of sci-fi adventure will likely enjoy this book. However, those looking for a more traditional sci-fi experience may find the romance-heavy plot overwhelming. Anderson’s writing is engaging and fast-paced, making Claimed a popular choice in the paranormal romance genre.

SO good, I’ve been wanting to read something like this for a long while with alien/human romance. I read it in less than 24 hours and immediately looked for the next, but it looks like Book 2 isn’t on here?? What’s up with that?!
