This isn’t a novel, it’s a collection of short stories about characters that we’ve already read about. Very disappointed.

The insight gained reading Threshing Day was great. I was disappointed Violet, Tairn’s and Andarna’s story was not included even though part of her story was in Fourth Wing already. I would have like more detail from the dragon’s perspective. I am very much looking forward to the continuation of the story…….

I honestly thought this book would be lame. But I want so much more. It gave us such incredible insight. I didn’t realize just how much I missed these characters. Now to wait :-(

Only thing I don’t understand is why the online book’s illustrations aren’t colored like the hard copies. 0/5 for that.

She’s done it again, and again. The narrative drive and intimate inflections of each pov do not leave room for disappointment. It’s rich, complex, and has me recalculating every expectation. Plenty of nuggets to chew on and I could not recommend this novella more. So hype for book 4!

This is a reference guide about how the players in the other novels bonded with their dragons. No story arc, no Romance. Should have been a reduced price concordance.

I’ve always wanted to know how all the others got through threshing day. And I feel like some of the things in this book will be very important in the next book!
