This is the kind of story I am accustomed to reading from Ms. Macomber. There is a depth to the characters that draws you into the story. Thanks for another gem.

Any time I see a Debbie Macomber on my Bookbub list, I know I’ve got a good book waiting for me when I’ve finished whatever book I’m reading. I have pretty much loved them all.

Heartfelt and so cute, love all the relationships that were connected with Joan and she overcame her loss.

I am a widow and read this book without knowing that this was what it was about. I saw myself in so much of it.. my husband passed 11 yrs ago. I am still alone but I have my daughter and son and his wife and grandchildren. The feelings the book mentions are all so true. I also went to a grief consulting group and it definitely helped. You realize you’re not alone that others are experiencing the same feelings you have gone through.

This book held my attention from beginning to end. There were so many places I could put myself as I grieved. Also many more things I can do for myself. Thank-you for writing this I’m sure there are many widows who will relate and find help from this information.

A must read for Debbie Macomber fans, especially anyone who has suffered a loss of a husband!
