The overall idea of this book could have been very promising. However, once the main characters were brought together in this space colony endeavor, you can’t really believe them. The characters are flat and the overall story is preposterous and contrived.

The idea was great, but the execution is terrible. The reactions of the characters make no sense and almost all the characters are one-sided. Too many plot points for the skill of this writer. She couldn’t handle them and so they feel really jarring and make little sense. I couldn’t finish this hot mess.

This book became more and more enjoyable. I couldn’t finish the last few chapters fast enough. Overall, interesting characters with plenty of room for growth; scene descriptions were great (not too lengthy). The suspense builds and while some of my predictions turned out accurate there were definitely hidden secrets I didn’t see coming. I will definitely be finishing this series.

I read all 5 books. This is my first time reading sci-fi and this series was a great introduction to the genre. The story line is believable and scary because it shows what is possible in the near future on Earth. The books follow each other smoothly so I definitely recommend reading them in order and back to back. You can buy the first 3 books in a bundle to save a few dollars. Happy Reading!

Excellent!!! Captivating, diverse plot lines, honest interactions, so go with a basis in fact (unusual in this day and age). A pleasure to read.

The story line is a different one from the standard science fiction novel that is based in space from the beginning This one starts on earth and ends on a space station Do not know if the story line is different enough to buy the next book follow the main characters

Suspenseful sci fi with inter3sting plot and characters

good book for someone in the mood for an easy read. pretty straightforward storyline, i wasn’t amazed with the writing. descriptions felt elementary and obvious/predictable; i prefer stories that require a little more inference. also felt like more could have happened in the book. was kind of slow paced and the climax was a slight yawn for 300+ pages. i also prefer long and more complicated storylines especially for a space opera.

The book is arbitrarily whacked off and you’re told to pay $3.99 to finish it. I refuse to pay again for a book. If I’d finished the first in a series I would but not when the first book I paid for was not finished.
