I loved this story about a wounded hero and a woman without a true home. This story has everything that a true love story should. It had me from the very first word to the very last period. I so want to read the rest of the series and see what kind of women will be able to bring these heroes to their knees.

I loved this story about a military veteran who found love with a lonely writer. The characters were fantastic and the story was sweet.

Simply put, Harrison is special forces with survivor’s guilt and Ivy is the woman who helps him find the light of life. While the book is good and the characters likable, in my opinion, I’d like there to be more development to the underlying story. It’s a good, quick read with a few steamy scenes and a HEA ending. I’d read it again.

Loved Harrison and Ivy’s story! Couldn’t put it down!

I so enjoyed this book ! It held my interest throughout. The characters, Ivy and Harrison, were compelling. Their dialogue was witty. Kind of reminded me of Nora Roberts’ books. I will definitely be reading more by Kati Nolan. No foul language that I remember, and sexual encounters were tastefully described.

Made me smile, made me laugh. Love that I got to learn a new foreign language phrase. Very happy reader.

Loved everything about this book! Harrison and Ivy are a sweet couple and Ivy is a force to be reckoned with in a terrific way! 10 stars if I could.
