Top Secret Target, by Dana Mentink, is the third book in the Military K-9 continuity series. This action packed page turner caught me right from the first page and had me turning page after page as the characters searched for The Red Rose Killer, before he strikes again, while trying not to become his next victims. In true Dana Mentink form, she did an amazing job of adding twists and turns to this story that I never saw coming right till the very end. From dodging bullets, to flying in a car over a cliff, to having a car trying to run over her, Kendra Bell P.I. along with Military Police Lieutenant Ethan Webb and his K-9 Titus, fight to the very end to capture not just one killer, but two and possibly more. Will they be able to catch the killer/killers before they themselves end up dead? Who can they trust when it seems almost everyone is a suspect? This book is a wonderful addition to the suspense series and I look forward to reading the next in this series. While this book is part of a continuity series, it can very well be read as a stand-a-lone novel, but I highly encourage you to pick up the others in this series as they too were great reads! I received a copy of this book from the author, but was not required to give an honest review. This is my honest opinion of this book.
