But I must say that this is my favorite story. I love the sarcastic wit of Penelope and her verbal parries with Colin and the way they brought out the best in each other. If new to the series, don’t pass this one up, this said by a SFF/mystery fan who NEVER used to read romances until this series popped up and I was captivated by the cover art. PS I suspected all along who Lady Whistledown was.

This made me laugh and cry at the same time. Peneople and Colin are a great couple and remind me of Monica and Chandler from Friends.

I love this series, all of the stories will make you feel as if you are there in that setting, you can feel every emotion , you can feel every setting .. I love these happy endings . Thanks Julia for another amazing novel❤️

Wish I would have read the book before watching the series! This makes me want to read every book she has written, especially in this series!

Enjoyable!

I enjoyed the witty banter and sarcasm in the beginning but once the big reveal happens in the middle Colin’s attitude and behavior takes a turn for the worst. You could even call has behavior abusive. Extremely disturbing. I couldn’t enjoy the romance and love scenes after that. Had to put it down.

Very lovely book soft and easy to read quick read not too much drama and a lot of love and friendship

Could not put this book down! I hope the show doesn’t stray too far from the book.
