Outstanding. Sets up the characters wonderfully. Get an idea of where things are going, but we are at the tip of the iceberg and the writing and situations are already THIS good. A story about adult life/romance has been SOOO refreshing and relatable. Characters are unique, strong, have their own voice, style, flavor, and add something unique. Dialogue is snappy, art is 11/10, so engaging and at the end of the day just two adults vibing and some delicious slow burn romance. If you need action and hyper-melodrama this one may not be for you, but if you are coming for wonderful characters, subtle writing, refreshing premise, subdued drama, some comedy, romance, some catharsis? Then you already know the meeting spot! BYOS (bring your own smokes), even the smoking (terrible habit, gross, I have no desire to smoke) is so enticingly romanticized, and showcases really the only good thing about smoking (do not smoke!) which is the social/bonding opportunities. And darn it… smoking does look kinda cool in the same way a shootout on the Hollywood silver screen does.. are you not entertained?! Can’t wait to read what happens next!!!!

I personally don’t review, unless the book is worth it. I personally love the story line and the characters, totally recommend to anyone wanting to read something new and fresh. 5 stars
