From the world's #1 bestselling author, an attention-seeking copycat from the Women’s Murder Club’s past is recreating murders by a famous killer—with devastating new twists.

Detective Lindsay Boxer put serial killer Evan Burke in jail.

Reporter Cindy Thomas wrote a book that put him on the bestseller list.

An obsessed maniac has turned Burke’s true-crime story into a playbook. And is embellishing it with gruesome touches all his own.

Now Lindsay’s tracking an elusive suspect, and the entire Murder Club is facing destruction.

This book was great, it was very intriguing. A lot of twist and turns and the plot just thickened as the book progressed. It hit home for the women in the Murder Club, it’s different when it’s one of your own!

I love the women’s murder club. I stopped reading it for a while because I was fearful for Cindy. Killers are scary and this book awakens so many possibilities if we are not paying attention. Probably even if we are. The research for this book had to be incredible. Thank you.

I’ve read all the books in this series, and loved them all. This however is the weakest by far. The story was so surface, and then so many areas implausible that I found myself skipping paragraphs. This book seems to be a case of just getting a book in print and selling it.
