An extremely fun read with lots of twists and turns! Not my usual kind of book but happy I went off script, I will be reading the next book in the series…

Do yourself a favor and pour a cup of coffee with cough syrup aka Sinful’s homemade moonshine and give this a read.

What a fun book. Small town characters are well developed and the story rolls out with laughs along the way.

It is awesome to read a mystery to the end without figuring out the killer halfway through the story…and with so many laughs along the way!!!

I have been reading the books in order and I’m about to open book #3. These are easy reads but they’re fun cozy noir mysteries with the same crew that will have you cackling away. I’m more of a true crime or thriller, mystery person but this cozy mystery series is too cute and it’s really good.

Haven’t laughed at a book like this since Stephanie Plum. Already purchased the next one and can’t wait to read!

At several times during my read, I had to laugh out loud at the antics of the group of Louisiana ladies determined to help a friend being accused of murder.

Laugh out loud funny. The characters are well developed and charming!
