This book is awesome, it tells us about the story of Nirvana before the whole Nevermind thing, while they were still an "underground" and "unknown" band. Lots of cool stories from someone who was actually there and not some phoney journalist just trying to cash in, and lots of new pictures too. A must read for any Nirvana fan...Thanks Bruce!!!

Seeing these photos for the first time, so many years after the fact is such a treat. Thank you Bruce for sharing and reminding me what special influence you and everyone in this book gave to my life. So real.

I would like to own this iBook. Why is it only workable on everything except a MacBook? I have the same problem with the Shatner app and The Daily Show news app. Why is Apple NOT allowing MacBook Pro users to purchase and enjoy this content. I can't buy a different device to view this - I need my MacBook to do so. What's the deal?

This book reminds me of why I am such a big Nirvana fan. Genuine musicians and genuine music. The photos really capture why this time was so special

I love this book. Growing up as a teenager in Seattle in the 90's was saturated with Grunge lore. So much of it centered around the tragic death of Kurt Cobain. This is the early history that only a select few got to see. It's a history lesson in the last big bang that happened in music.

I downloaded this book, and as a Nirvana fan, I must say, it brought me to tears. This is the first Nirvana story with a happy ending. It was beautiful to see Kurt surrounded by friends, and cast as a musician and a music scholar. Very, very moving and cool.
