If you aren’t religious and aren’t easily brainwashed, this book won’t interest you. I couldn’t get past the 1st Chapter. Religious abuse dressed up as empowerment.

I’ve only had the stomach to read bits and pieces, and all of it seems to just be justification for being put in an abusive, controlled relationship.

Truly.

This is my all time favorite book minus God's holy (KJB) word. It is a great read for wives of all ages.

I recommend this book to EVERY Christian woman! Life-changing! I am almost finished with this book...it's hard to put it down! You won't be the same after reading it!

This is an absurd book that parades around pretending to empower women with their true place. How empowering can it be when that place it proposes is subservient to the husband. Further, the author frequently employs false logic to prove her points, often invoking her husband as an authority. It's just not even thought provoking.

I recommend this book to every woman who is thinking about marriage, engaged, or married for years! It's been such a blessing in my marriage and a powerful learning tool! I loved it and I even read it with my husband it brought up wonderful conversation. It's a definite recommendation! A must read ladies!

This book is life, attitude and marriage changing! It is not only a great read, but it gives practical advice for living a joyful life in the midst of whatever circumstances you may find yourself in. Thanks for the incredible blessing Mrs. Pearl!!!

Just started reading this book, so far it's great. I'm reading it with a group, two other girls, my grandma, and my mother in-law. We have all learned a lot from this book and we're only on the 5th chapter. Can't wait to read more. I would recommend reading this book with a group because you learn something from each person. If I were to read it on my own I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. I give this book 5 stars!
