the way the science is written makes you understand everything i feel like a learned so much while being so emotionally invested, i wish there were more books like this, so one of a kind. i’m so happy i had the opportunity to read this❤️
  • A Love Letter to Problem-Solving

As a CS grad student, I loved watching Ryland Grace debug his way through impossible problems with nothing but logic, persistence, and duct-taped ingenuity. His trial-and-error process — hypothesize, test, fail, iterate — felt exactly like debugging code at 2 a.m. The science is rigorous but never dry, and the friendship with Rocky shows how creative problem-solving transcends language. A must-read for anyone who enjoys systematic thinking under pressure.

This book teaches you to believe in yourself and to believe in hope. I loved every last character in the book. All of them. I haven’t watched the movie yet but the book was fantastic and now I’m curious about the movie. Fantastic read. Definitely one to own physically and digitally and reread whenever I want.

It was very good, but lacked in some areas. Could use some improvement but overall very cool for science geeks

I've struggled with reading recreationally for years. Nothing kept my attention unless it was a required read. This is the first book I've read cover to cover for fun in maybe a decade. I'm honestly sad it's over. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you're a science nerd like me!
