Under the direction of his Uncle Gil, Ian Brady goes undercover to protect one of his uncle’s former employees. He must not reveal to the former government agent, Jonna Strand who he is or why he is staying at the Washington State Inn that she now runs after leaving Miami. Action packed from the beginning to the final page. The storyline is riveting filled with intrigue, a dangerous storm, someone trying to kill Jonna, suspense with some romance trying to kindle. The main characters are well defined, well developed, artfully drawn and have interesting past to overcome. The supporting characters add to the story. Even Jonna’s fur baby, Chop Suey, the cat is a fun addition to the story. This is book # 2 in the Coldwater Bay Intrigue Mystery series. It can be read as a stand alone.
