Couldn’t put this book down!

The major parts were good but the writings in between were boring and repetitive. I skipped some parts that were pointless to the storyline. I also was looking more to the abuse background of the detective but didn’t dive in like I wanted

This story was a great read & I ended up reading it in one day, because I couldn’t put it down.

One of the best books I have read! Loved it could not put it down!

I really enjoyed reading The Next Girl by Carla Kovach. I’m a fan of mystery and crime novels, and this book kept my attention from beginning to end. The story pulled me in right away, and I found myself wanting to keep reading just to figure out what was going to happen next. One thing I liked most was Detective Gina Harte. She felt like a real person instead of a perfect detective. She had her own struggles and emotions, which made it easier for me to connect with her as she worked through the investigation. I also liked how the story slowly revealed new clues instead of giving everything away too quickly. Every time I thought I had the mystery figured out, something unexpected happened that changed my mind. The book also touches on some serious topics, which made the story feel more realistic and emotional. There were moments that were difficult to read, but I think they added depth to the characters and made me care even more about what happened to them. My favorite part was how the ending tied everything together. I didn’t see all of the twists coming, and I enjoyed being surprised. It’s the kind of book that keeps you thinking even after you’ve finished it.

I love this book

I only read thrillers and am accustomed to creepy storylines but this was just plain disturbing and 100% depressing. I don’t know how or why I finished it. One of my least favorite books of all time.

This was a well written; fast pace read! I couldn’t put it down & read it in one non-stop session! (My Hubby kept trying to get me to put it down - but I couldn’t… Not even for an afternoon of garage sales! 😁 The characters are well constructed & the situations are believable. Excellent book.

I had a hard time putting this book down. It was a good read, a little lengthy in the extra details, like every little step the main character took, wiping their nose etc. and a good bit of grammatical errors. But all in all the story was great, I will definitely be reading more Carla Kovach books!
