I enjoyed this book, though it was a little different from a run of the mill HEA it was a little mystery playing out & very little romance. A couple of kisses was as close to “action” as there was in this one! A very clean book, which is hard to find.

Great story! Never suspected who the murderer was though!

This was a great book to read. Well written and hit home on so many points. I hight recommend.

I don’t usually read mysteries but found myself quickly drawn in……and it sure didn’t disappoint me!!!

Thought it was about cooking ended up being about murder from a person who I didn’t think about in that way. Interesting.

Great storyline couldn’t put down.

I loved this story. I found it difficult to put it down to go to sleep at night. It was intriguing but full of love for the people of Pajaro Bay. There is a mystery to solve and I couldn’t wait to know.

A good start to a series, if a bit short with a kind of rushed solving of the mystery. There are a few minor issues, such as the fact that there’s no poison ivy on the West Coast and the Spanish missions are named after saints, not locations. The town itself is completely fictional, so anyone familiar with the coastal region of Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay should not expect to recognize any peculiar town; “Pajaro Bay” is a pastiche of all of them.

This book was great! I can't wait to read another by this author!
