Listen, I’m a reader and far from it but my goal this year was to read a book and look at it. It’s January 9 and I finished this book that I downloaded on January 4. I’m a sucker for romcom, but all of my friends are really into smut right now and this was exactly what I needed. An adult romance novel, I hope this author has a lot more books into store. And I guess it helps that I’m also a military spouse.

This is my 7th book from Kate Aster so far. They are all great.

What’s not to love? You’ve got a hot steamy romance with an ex-SEAL, lots of rescue dogs being loved on and finding new forever homes, and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing just how can they resolve all their differences. One of the best books I’ve read in a long time!

Lots of sexy scenes, hot abs, and a great storyline! Love that he is a Navy Seal Veteran also.
