This book is basically a tearjerker. The only reason I read the entire book is because I purchased it. Books like this should come with a warning, i.e., subject matter will depress you. Two thirds of the book is devoted to SIDS which is a terrible thing for parents to endure. This novel is about pain and suffering over an 11 year period and ends with a bogus epiphany by the heroine. Long on pain very short on romance.

I laughed and I cried happy and sad tears And I couldn't put it down! Steph Nuss tackled a tough subject in this book and she nailed it! SHE NAILED IT!! The raw emotion these characters possessed truly showed how Steph's writing keeps getting better, and that's a hard thing to imagine because her writing is real, smart, funny and emotional. Can't wait for the next one!

I couldn't wait for this book to come out! I was so excited to read about Paige and what makes her tick. Steph Nuss brought so much feeling to Paige's story and I was never disappointed. The story was relatable and heartfelt and funny and so many other feelings! She outdoes herself every time. After each book I read the series again! I can't get enough of Steph Nuss and her Love In the City series!!!

What an amazing story...Steph Nuss captures the essence of utter bliss in a relationship & the deep sorrow that life sometimes deals us. She captures ALL the emotions in this wonderful story. A quote from her book that sums it up..."That's the thing though, you don't get to choose how people feel about you."

How am I supposed to review what I just read? I'm going to try my best, but the words are failing me. It's been a long time since I read a book where I ugly cried, multiple times! But that exactly what happened during the course of this story. Know what else happened? I laughed out loud! In the same book! Believe it or not, I swooned too. What an incredible job Steph did with Challenged By You. I could not have loved Drake more than I did. And Paige? WOW! That girl has more strength in her than two grown men combined. I love a good second chance romance, and this one was incredible. I got all the feels while reading this book. And I do mean ALL. THE. FEELS. This was hands down my favorite of the series so far. WONDERFUL read!
